Food Diary - 30 Oct 08 (Thursday)

I'm deciding whether I want to continue with the food diary since I have already completed my first phase and reported to the dietitian. I think in some ways, my daily food habits are quite routine and repetitive. I met the dietitian and she has prescribed a meal plan which is supposed to bring my calorie intake to around 1800 calories a day. The plan sounds pretty do-able but I'm sure it's going to take some will power and discipline to stick to it.

Anyway, I guess I am somewhat keener to keep to my exercise diary but maybe I'll only make entries for my food diary if there are any special entries worth mentioning.

The meal plan she suggested was:

BREAKFAST
Prawn noodle soup with chwee kueh (coz I like chwee kueh)
OR
Lor Mee (but no chwee kueh. sniff.)
OR
Fried Bee Hoon with two side dishes

LUNCH
Yong Tau Foo with a bowl of rice
OR
Some soup dish (like fish soup, dumpling soup, etc) with a bowl of rice
OR
Chicken Rice (with plain rice! and no skin on chicken meat. Heh)
It's going to be a little challenging to find a chicken rice stall which serves plain rice... but I think I'll give it a try!

DINNER
Spaghetti (preferably with tomato sauce and no processed meats)
OR
Palm size portion of meat with boiled veges (basically minimal frying) with a bowl of rice
and
FRUIT

My guess is that the plan isn't too tough to follow. Gonna give it a try for the next few days but unfortunately, I'll be off to Japan soon so I'm not going to be able to follow it.

The fun never ends. Lol.
