It's been a while

As with all blogs, it usually comes to a time when updating feels like a bit of a chore. It's been a while since my last update, but mostly due to my laziness. Thankfully, the laziness is confined to my blog updating and not my exercising.

I've been keeping up with my daily visits to the gym but I must admit that in the past week, there has been a growing inertia to go to the gym. It's a little scary because I really don't want to put back what I have lost so far.

My latest weigh-in puts me at about 130.2 kg. That's quite exciting and I think I've lost about 5 to 6 inches to my waist. Ialso find my shirts getting a little too baggy and am startng to buy shirts at least one size smaller. I think all this is making me a little complacent. I'm far from my ideal weight and am still targetting to lose at least one kg a week if not more.

I've been clocking in at about 25 to 30mins on the elliptical machine everday together with about 25mins on the treadmill. But as I start losing weight, it's taking more time on each machine to burn off those calories. Phew. It's tiring. But hey... nothing comes without hard work right?

It's 2009 and my goal is to lose a kg a week and hopefully hit the double digit weight by the end of this year. This is one resolution I hope I can keep. :)
