Burnout

Last week, I had my first taste of burnout.

I've been pushing myself pretty hard coz I was quite disappointed that I had only lost 2kg at my previous session with my Sports Therapist.  So, I've tried to put in some extra walking/jogging in the evenings before my session with the ST last Wednesday.  Well, it paid off and I weighed in with a loss of about 4kg.  The surprising thing was immediately after that session, I was totally burned out.  For the next two days, I could barely bring myself to go the gym or do any walk/jogs.  So basically, on Thurs and Friday, I slacked off from my exercising.  Finally, on Saturday, I managed to push myself to go to the gym to continue with my daily exercising.  I've also started with my evening walk & jogs.  I find that I've been able to push myself to do about 20-30mins of slow jogging in the evening.  As excited I am to starting doing regular jogging, I'm also quite mindful that I don't push myself too hard coz I really don't want to get any knee/foot injury which might take me off exercising on a long term.

As of today, i'm down to about 108kg.  Only 9kg more to my first target of hitting below the 100kg mark and 19kg more to my final target of going below 90kg.
