At my last appointment two weeks ago, I weighed in at 107.5kg which was barely 2kg less than my weigh-in two weeks earlier. I was getting a little demoralized as I tried to struggle with trying to eat more (as my dietitian recommended) while maintaining my exercise in the light of huge changes to my schedule due to the change in my job.
This week, I was really surprised when I weighed in at 104kg! While it's a morale booster, I am wondering if it's just a weird yo-yo effect coz as far as I know, I've been eating a little more and I had to stop exercising for two days last week coz I was kinda coming down with a flu/cold.
This means that I am barely 4kg away from my first target. Unbelievable.
Went shopping last weekend and realized that I'm basically fitting into US XL T-shirts. I was even more surprised when I could actually fit into a Bossini Crew T-shirt... XL! I didn't even need to get the XXL. I am sure if I had told myself that I could wear a Bossini XL shirt 6 months ago, I would die laughing.
My waist has dropped to about 40 inches. In fact, I was trying on jeans at Marks and Spencer and found that I could actually fit into a size 38.. though it was a little snug. So I think I'm somewhere between 39-40 inches. That's down from over 54 inches just 6 month ago.
Again, I must admit... it's unbelievable.
I'll be seeing my doctor for the last time in 2 weeks. I doubt I can hit 100 by then. But I think I'm definitely on my way. :)
