It's hard to believe my eyes.... I've broken the 90kg mark...
I've been keeping myself busy with my new job and trying to adjust to my new schedule. I've met my doctor recently and he's challenged me to set myself a new target of completing a 10km run by the end of the year. With that in mind... I decided to sign-up for the 10km-run of the Standard Chartered Marathon. This will be my first ever marathon participation. Figured that I'll try to work towards that goal, failing which, I just won't turn up for it. heh.
I've been trying hard to keep up the routine of alternating between gym and jogging. So I've tried to go to the gym on Mon, Wed & Fri and run on Sun, Tue and Thu. I've been taking tennis lessons on Sat and Taiko drums as well.
So far, so good.
I think I've been able to give myself enough variety to avoid getting bored. I'm also quite happy I've not gotten any serious injury so I've been able to keep going. The next activity I'm really trying to get into is Dragonboating.... :P
10 more kgs and I will have met my weight target of hitting my ideal BMI. It's scary when I think that I might put it all back on in no time. I've not been able to go to the gym the whole of last week coz of work but managed to put in a couple of runs at night. Glad to say it seems I did not put on any weight.
89.5kg... O.M.G. :D
