It's been a couple of months since I last posted. Since the Stanchart Marathon, I've been trying to reach my target weight of 80kg. I think the closest I've reached was about 81.5kg. The sad thing is, with the demands and stress of work, I have found myself struggling not only to do my regular runs, but also with stress eating!

I'd been keeping up with jogging and gymming every alternate day until about 2 weeks ago when I think I strained my left shoulder muscle. It's been hurting since then and I've not hit the gym because of that. I'm hoping it heals fast so that I can return to my gymming. So for now, I've tried to go for jogs every other day.

The sad thing is that I think I have really started stress eating. Work has been really stressful and I've been 'rewarding' myself with sinful treats ranging from creamy chocolate biscuits to mars ice cream bars. Some days, I find myself downing packets of cookies, not because I was hungry but just cause I wanted to keep something in my mouth.

Sigh.

Now it seems that losing the weight was the easy part. Reaching a balance and keeping to off is really tough.

I think I'm back to about 85kg now. I'm gonna try my best to control my urge to stress eat and return to a more healthy lifestyle. I think I can still target to hit my ideal weight of 80kg by the end of this term.

Let's see how the 10 weeks will go.
