Second Wind

It's been a while since I've kept records of my running and I think I should get started on it again. I've been running kinda regularly, probably doing about 3 runs a week most of the time. I had to go off my gym sessions for the last 3 weeks cause I think I strained my left shoulder muscle. Waiting for it to heal properly before resuming my gymming.

I've basically been keeping my runs to around 5km and 6km. I do feel myself getting more comfortable with the 6km runs and it was quite a pleasant surprise to find that I've dropped my 5.4km timing by almost 3mins.

I think I need to give myself another 10km target so that I have something to work towards. Right now, trying to maintain my weight is the main motivation to run. It's definitely not been easy. I don't think I am totally going back to old habits, but it is hard trying to reach some equilibrium. Think it will take some time to adjust my lifestyle so that I can enter maintenance mode.

Well, I hope to keep up my running record. I think marathon runners call this the Second Wind. Since I'm definitely hoping that this weight loss is a long term result (I certainly don't want to start buying fluffy clothes again...), this is definitely going to be like a marathon. I think I need to hit my second wind so that I can keep thing going.

I shall resolve to hit my BMI by September (latest!)!
